Heya fellow peepz, since I was literally having an epic writers' block, I couldn't write a single word. I think I'm kind of returning to normal, so don't kill me if this blog is royally screwed.
Since the moment I published my first post, I had been wondering whatever thing was I supposed to write about and couldn't come up with anything. Even after asking a lot of people, I was still clueless.
I want to write about various stuff but couldn't make up my mind on what to write or how much to write about it, because I'm pretty sure I write very controversial stuff and that could prove to be very dangerous for me, as a citizen of India.
Now, people living in India would understand my concerns, but for those very ignorant Indians, and a few others, I have come to know of a good amount of people that have suffered because of their mere opinions about some of the stuff in this country, oops, "nation" as they like to call India.
Even though the Constitution proudly boasts the "Liberty of Thought, Expression, Belief, Faith and Worship", only the first is practiced, well, as long as people don't discover how to read minds.
Expressing our opinion is a brave feat in India, since if our opinion is disliked by "some people", they won't just let it go, instead, they will make the person's life a living hell, making his wish he had died before he had thought of voicing his opinions out loud. Truly, I respect the people who have the bravery to actually accomplish this.
Belief. I don't quite think people actually understand the meaning of this word. To be exact, it means "an acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof." In India though, most of them don't respect the other person's belief and make them feel that believing in whatever they believe in is a criminal offence of some sort. That's not all, they even show the audacity to thrust their belief upon others FORCIBLY.
FAITH? In what? God? The Government? It's all a joke. We put our faith in all these politicians and elect people as OUR representatives and when they finally come to power, they feel as if they've reached the zenith on their own efforts and instead of thinking of themselves as the servants of the public body and the nation itself, they feel as if they are Gods ruling this nation. Faith is just a myth, because whoever or whatever we put faith in, fails in the end, no matter what.
WORSHIP. This the country has taken a bit too seriously. I agree when they worship a God, their deities, eternal energy that no one has control over. I believe in that too. But when this gets a bit overhead, like painting a mere rock in red and ornamenting it with a flower garland, people really go and worship it. Idol worship is the curse of humanity and it IS going to be the end of it. Do you seriously think an eternal force will reside even in the enclosure of four walls, rather a clay doll? That's just plain stupid. You want to pray, pray in your mind's temple, and if God is as powerful as you make him seem to be, HE / SHE will listen. All this worship has lead to nothing but frauds and so many criminal activities with all these "dhongi babas" pretending to be a messenger for the eternal force. Like really? Why would a force that powerful need messengers, and that too, human?
Now, since I am just a small little citizen who doesn't matter. these things shall go unchanged, unnamed and these questions unanswered. People can spend millions in worshiping and years in praying but they won't run the extra mile to actually make an effort to accomplish the task at hand.
Hoping to stay alive and not get assassinated by some political party after this gets published.
